While I’m highly anticipating WWE 2k23 early access to arrive, I began to revist the latest edition to the series; last years WWE 2k22, a game I have not been a fan of since it’s early access days. In fact, I regret buying the NWO Edition all together.
However, as we await the release of WWE 2K23, I decided to try my attempt at reviving my enthusiam and excitement for a WWE video game release by playing the latest one in the series.
And I did just that. I dabbled with MyFaction (reluctantly, and almost immediately remembering why I stopped playing my MyFaction on week three). I also booted up WWE Showcase, and realized why I stopped playing that as well. I then tried MyGM, and you can guess what I realized there.
So, I hopped into exhibition, hit the random button, and I got an unexpected match up that ended up being a spectcular showcase of what made WWE 2K22 fun. Randy Orton versus Razor Ramon has to be one of my favorite matches that I have ever played in WWE 2k22. The sequences, reversals, and OMG!-esque moments made me stay hooked to the long time limit I bestowed to this match type.
As you can probably tell by now, I love table matches in WWE games. Hell, I love table matches in real life pro wrestling as well. There is something incredibly satisfying about watching someone’s body break through a wooden table. In fact, it’s so satisfying that one of my bucket list goals is to go through a wooden wrestling table myself. How awesome would that be?
Anyways, as with all of the WWE 2k highlight reels I throw together, I love coming up with a build and backstory to it for anyone who is interested. Even if no one is interested, it’s a good writing exercise and brain activity to keep me busy.
If you don’t care about the backstory, the link to Randy Orton vs Razor Ramon can be found here. If you are interested in some fantasy build up, keep scrolling as I’ll give you the real behind the scenes story of how this match came to be and then I’ll give you a fantasy booking with the highlight reel embedded below.
Thank you in advance for watching the video, and reading this backstory. If you remember: please like, and share my video and hit the YouTube subscribe button as well. I’d also appreciate it if you would share this post, and like it as well if you ended up reading the fantasy booking and liked it.
