R.I.P Scott Hall

While I’m highly anticipating WWE 2k23 early access to arrive, I began to revist the latest edition to the series; last years WWE 2k22, a game I have not been a fan of since it’s early access days. In fact, I regret buying the NWO Edition all together.

However, as we await the release of WWE 2K23, I decided to try my attempt at reviving my enthusiam and excitement for a WWE video game release by playing the latest one in the series.

And I did just that. I dabbled with MyFaction (reluctantly, and almost immediately remembering why I stopped playing my MyFaction on week three). I also booted up WWE Showcase, and realized why I stopped playing that as well. I then tried MyGM, and you can guess what I realized there.

So, I hopped into exhibition, hit the random button, and I got an unexpected match up that ended up being a spectcular showcase of what made WWE 2K22 fun. Randy Orton versus Razor Ramon has to be one of my favorite matches that I have ever played in WWE 2k22. The sequences, reversals, and OMG!-esque moments made me stay hooked to the long time limit I bestowed to this match type.

As you can probably tell by now, I love table matches in WWE games. Hell, I love table matches in real life pro wrestling as well. There is something incredibly satisfying about watching someone’s body break through a wooden table. In fact, it’s so satisfying that one of my bucket list goals is to go through a wooden wrestling table myself. How awesome would that be?

Anyways, as with all of the WWE 2k highlight reels I throw together, I love coming up with a build and backstory to it for anyone who is interested. Even if no one is interested, it’s a good writing exercise and brain activity to keep me busy.

If you don’t care about the backstory, the link to Randy Orton vs Razor Ramon can be found here. If you are interested in some fantasy build up, keep scrolling as I’ll give you the real behind the scenes story of how this match came to be and then I’ll give you a fantasy booking with the highlight reel embedded below.

Thank you in advance for watching the video, and reading this backstory. If you remember: please like, and share my video and hit the YouTube subscribe button as well. I’d also appreciate it if you would share this post, and like it as well if you ended up reading the fantasy booking and liked it.

The match that inspired me to create the SNAP JABS series

I recently posted the Triple H vs Buddy Murphy match both on my YouTube, and on this blog which is officially the first episode of a series that really has no interconnecting stories but do feature stories to help build up the match.

However, Kawada vs Kobashi has no story. It’s the first ever match I played in WWE 2k22, and I enjoyed it so much, I wanted to edit the clips together and make a highlight reel. It was my first taste of how great the gameplay in WWE 2k22 can be.

It was the spark that created something I’m excited to showcase even if it doesn’t gain a lot of traction. And sure, I can sit here and think of a story for these two, but in reality, there doesn’t need to be one. This was just some good ole pro wrestling gameplay that felt like I was watching a real Kawada vs Kobashi match.

But that’s about it. If you enjoy this content, I have a lot more WWE 2k22 stuff coming. So, please, keep checking back. I’d much appreciate a follow on my twitter, and perhaps you could even subscribe to my YouTube? If none of that interests you, I’m sure sharing this post and video isn’t too much trouble?

Thank you, and have a wonderful day/night ❤

Sincerely,

SNAP JABS – Triple H vs Buddy Murphy [WWE 2k22 Match Highlight Series]

What happened when “The Game” Triple H made comments about “The Game Changer” Buddy Murphy during the WCW Starrcade press conference?

The WWE 2k22 Match Highlight series (a.k.a Snap Jabs) are highlights of random matches I’ve played in WWE 2k22 that were the most fun to play. And because I’m a nerd, I thought it would be interesting to add a backstory in order to build the match instead of watching some random dudes match highlights from a game you most likely play.

The Story

During the WCW Starrcade press conference, “The Game” Triple H was asked about the future of WCW. Triple H praised many of the future superstars such as Swerve Scott, and Scorpio Sky while praising that his friends Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall are doing wonders with holding up the bar.

When asked about Buddy Murphy going by the moniker of “The Game Changer” recently, Triple H scoffed and began laughing. He stated, “the kid knows nothing if he’s calling himself The Game Changer”.
