How I plan on using the first WWE 2K23 DLC Pack – Steiner Row

The first WWE 2K23 DLC dropped on April 19th, and it’s probably the weakest DLC a WWE game has ever given us. Let’s see how we can work with what we have in MyUniverse.

Last month, 2K and Visual Concepts released their first DLC for WWE 2K23 called “Steiner Row”. The highly aniticpated DLC is the first for this years edition of the WWE 2K series, but the anticipation isn’t so much for the content, but for the patch that came with it.

The 1.08 patched finally addressed numerous bugs that made the game annoying to play (and replaced them with even worse bugs). While the first official big patch gave fans a “better” in game experience, the “Steiner Row” pack left much to be desired.

I have bought every single WWE game since Smackdown!: Shut Your Mouth (2002), and remember when WWE (with THQ, and Yukes) dropped the first DLC pack in Smackdown vs Raw 2009.

I don’t mind downloadable content costing extra as long the base game content is worth the sixty dollars (or more) already spent, DLCs aren’t play-to-win while littered with microtransactions that include items that should be in the base game, and are of value. So, I don’t mind buying the WWE 2K season passes or the DLC individually. I’ve been doing this since Smackdown vs Raw 2009 and haven’t come across a DLC pack that I thought was terrible.

Until WWE 2K23 and it’s “Steiner Row” pack. The pack features:

  • Late 80s-Early 90s playable versions of Rick and Scott Steiner (The Steiner Brothers)
  • Top Dolla of Hit Row (playable)
  • Ashante Adonis of Hit Row (playable)
  • B-Fab of Hit Row (NPC/Manager)

Last year I did a short lived series of blog posts discussing what I plan to do with the latest DLC packs in MyUniverse mode. I wanted to bring that series back this year because it gained a little bit of traction last year. Unfortunately, the entire DLC lineup for WWE 2K23 seems to be weak. So, this is going to be quite the challenge.

AEW Logo Pack I – DL Available

I got bored and decided to make some basic logos for All Elite Wrestling.

I am no graphic designer, I wish I was; I just don’t have the imagination when it comes to designing logos and the creativity that goes into it.

I think I’m capable of writing decent fictional stories, and decent professional wrestling storylines. But when it comes to designing logos? I don’t think I have it in me.

However, sometimes I do get into a deep creative mood, and I try my best even if the end product is incredibly simple.

Recently, an old hobby of mine has found new life within me. Way back in my WWE 2K18 days, I decided to start making pay-per-view and show posters for my WWE Universe Mode. I would sit on the computer for hours during classes and on my days off designing posters for my upcoming events in MyUniverse.
